You have to send us the manuscript (in .DOC or .DOCX format), declaration form filled and duly signed by all authors, copy of ethical clearance letter for original research articles, or signed informed consent form for case notes, and other supporting files as appropriate. Like most medical journals, KUMJ also employs an embargo system. The articles to be published are kept in confidence to anyone outside the Editorial office and the reviewer who reviewed it before its final release. The author or any other person is NOT allowed to bring it to public notice beforehand.

If an article has immediate clinical/public health importance, the author wanting it to be published it in fast-track needs to mail to editor beforehand stating all the reason clearly at editor@kumj.com.np

KUMJ is an open access journal, i.e. any reader from anywhere at any time can fully access any or all the articles published by us online. You can either click on Current Issue to access articles published in the running issue OR, you can click on Past Issues to access articles published earlier in KUMJ.

You can either search facility located at the top right corner of the website OR, you can search it in PubMed with relevant keywords and “kumj” added to it. E.g., asthma kumj

Normally, it doesn’t happen. But if it has, then you should inform us by email at info@kumj.com.np  and mention the particular article/issue number. We will mend the problem and will provide you the article as soon as possible.
